After the snowstorm, we were able to enjoy our time with Chubbles and help her celebrate her third birthday. It is still hard to imagine that she is already three. I still think of her as that small bundle being cuddled by her big brother and sisters.
She woke up to her door that was decorated by the birthday fairy. I just started this tradition a year or two ago. The kids like it so much they insist that the birthday fairy has to come to decorate our bedroom door when JB or I have a birthday.
I took the kids bowling during the afternoon to get them out of the house after being cooped up for over a week. Bowling is always a favorite with the gang. Chubbles won the second game.
Later that evening, we ate as a family at Chick-fil-a for dinner. We let the kids pick where we eat on their birthdays unless their birthday falls on a weekend and we have a party on the same day. the three littles played in the playground while we waited on daddy. After eating it candles and singing and then onto presents. She had been saying for months that she wanted gum, a library card and a big girl bed. She got the card the day before, more gum than she can chew and we put up the bed during the weekend after her birthday.
